About Us
Having worked together on various projects for over 20 years, Peter Miller and Graham Firth started Algoa in September 2000. Since then Algoa has grown into a flourishing refurbishment business offering a first class, personalised service.
Algoa’s management team:
Peter Miller – Managing Director
Peter has a B.Com degree and 35 years experience in business. He has comprehensive knowledge and experience of the residential and commercial property markets in South Africa and London.
Graham Firth – Projects Director
Graham has extensive experience in refurbishment works and is an experienced cabinet-maker. Graham is a hands-on manager with an eye for detail, and he supervises each project personally.
Martyn Ellert – Designer
Martyn has over 30 years experience in refurbishment and soft furnishings. He personally guides each client through the design process, advising on all aspects of the project design through to final furnishing.
Tim Rae – Technical Co-ordinator
With an HNC Architectural Technology and ONC Building Technology, Tim’s responsibilities include CAD drawings, plans, applications for building consents, as well as ensuring compliance with the latest regulations using environmentally sound materials.
Nicola Hall – Financial Manager
With a B.Com degree in accounting and extensive experience in admin, Nicola is well qualified to manage all Algoa’s financial and admin requirements.
Julie Gollan – Property Manager
Experienced in all aspects of property management, Julie is responsible for co-ordinating all day-to-day aspects of our Managed Properties portfolio.
