Algoa offers a convenient and reliable Property Management Service for both residential flats, and Block Management.

Residential Management

When letting a property there are numerous details to attend to, and regulations to adhere to. Algoa’s experienced staff will take care of everything for you, with a practical, hands-on approach. We can advise on all aspects of letting and managing your property.

What we do…

Algoa will help you find suitable tenants, and take care of all the necessary paperwork, including references, Tenancy Agreements/Renewals, as well as gas, electric and EPC certificates. We will collect the initial rental and a minimum 6 week deposit. We will lodge the deposit with the DPS to be held until the end of the tenancy. At that time we will assess and negotiate any dilapidations and with each party’s consent, will arrange refunds accordingly.

Trouble free

Algoa will make all the arrangements to ensure occupation is smooth and trouble free, including cleaning and arranging an independent inventory/check-in.

During the tenancy we will arrange and co-ordinate all of the day-to-day repairs and maintenance of the property. In many cases, Algoa will use our own in-house trades, which enables us to keep tight control over the work, and of course costs.

Algoa will also visit your property approximately every 6 months to assess any maintenance issues, and to confirm that the tenants are looking after the property properly.

We will collect the rent and remit to the Landlord, after deducting any costs such as commission, management expenses, service charges, ground rent, bills etc.

Block Management

Algoa’s Block Management service is a natural extension of our Residential Property Management service. We manage a number of small residential blocks within Pimlico, typically consisting of 6 – 12 flats, giving each property personal attention. Algoa take care of all the maintenance, lift contracts and servicing, cleaning, insurance etc, as well as compiling annual budgets and accounts, collecting service charges, and paying all bills.

With our own in-house trades, we have the experience and knowledge to take care of any maintenance issues that may arise, both large and small.
